A home inspection is always recommended even for a new home. Home Inspectors can be for buyers and sellers. Not all contractors are the same. You cannot depend on a county inspector to do the job of a professional paid by a buyer.  It can be very expensive to pay for repairs when things are unseen at the initial viewing of a home. FHI can have engineer reports made for the tie-down and skirting for manufactured homes, rather than having to hire an additional inspector for that important need.
